The reason I think it's so cool is that I doubt they would have elected JJ the captain given the opportunity.

Jefferson was the Captain last year.

My apologies then. Thought it was Barksdale or Ridley.

Don't get me wrong. I think its deserved. I'm just not interpreting it as some "Rudy" situation where the team is going out there to take bullets for Lee because of his past.

Lee is a fifth year senior and the starting QB. He should be the Captain.

Well, it's hard to say....I just think that it's a nice gesture they made towards JL. Here's a guy who was willing to make a great personal sacrifice in order to remain here at LSU. I think the team aprreciates this, and has decided to honor him for his example of what being a leader is all about.

I'd give anything for JL to become our "Rocky"- and have the kind of season worthy of a Champion- because I believe that's exactly what he is.

"I have to see a doctor before the game because I've had an erection for more than 4 hours"

I've worked with ER nurses - are they bad - you would receive a lot of attention by the "treatment" team

Probably admit you as an "in patient"

Going to make it even more awkward when Mett steals the show.

Your[sic] an idiot.

You mean Zach(I've never taken a snap outside Butler County Community College) Mettenberger? The stargazers always provide the ultimate in entertainment.

Don't get me wrong: I hope Mett wins the freaking Heisman, but you're just showing your arse. You're so insecure you probably always pick the 'other' guy - who doesn't play so you're never really on the hook for anything (but if he does - you'll be right there saying "I told you so").

Puss.

--eta--
Lee has worked his arse of for 4 years. Win or lose, he's busted his butt to represent YOUR school. He's seen limited playing time and has at times not received the fairest treatment (given JJ's performance) - but he still shows up. I admire the hell out of that young man. A lot of other people would have quit by now.
