Unbelievable. Just unbelievable. Did he have no one else to consider putting in after 2 guys on in the 9th?! Might be a good time to try the next pitcher! If you had someone ready, you could do that, but no, couldn't plan for a bad outing, could we?

I just didn't like pulling Newman. But you're right, we shoulda had a back up option before the bomb was dropped on us.

you guys are funny about the need to blame someone
but I did hold on to Les for about 2 years to long
so I can roll with the need of new blood if the old blood
can't do it any longer !!!
