So glad LSU is following the data about the virus and not the media hype!

Let those conferences not playing look on with regrets that they play in conferences that have pussies for Administrators!!

Believe only and you will see! I hate to see you live in such doubt and gloom and doom. I hate to see you deceived by the media. I hate to see you live in fear.

That’s what I’m talking about. You really believe that The Committee of Karen is going to be swayed by Truth and Freedom. You haven’t learned the lesson of 2020 America yet. You still think that facts and logic matter. Very quaint.

There is One greater than the Committee of Karen and He has the final word. As everyone saw in 2016 America. He is the same. He has not gone anywhere.

Unfortunately the players don’t want to play and the fans don’t want to attend....I’ll believe it when I see it.

Oh sorry, I was just counting chickens but I realized they hadn't hatched yet.

You are so full of $hit Dude!
Have YOU personally spoken to a single current member of the 2020 LSU football team?
What about anybody that n the LSU Admin.?
Or maybe it the LSU Athletic Dept.?
The clear answer is “NO”! You’re just talking out of you a$$!
Conversely, I’ve spoken with I’ve had the chance to speak with a coach, a couple of players and an Associate. AD all in the last 10 days, and to a man, they all made it very clear that the players definitely want to play!
Same for the coaches and the Admin. folks!
Do everybody a massive favor and
Post less!

Of course they want to play. They all want to play, except those that opted out. But it’s myopic.
No bubble. No ball. No employees, no bubble. They are student-athletes. If you prevent them from classes, going to bars, house parties, being a member of the student body, you have to pay them. You aren’t treating them as students anymore. Simple as that. And if you put them in a bubble, limit them to on-line classes only, prohibit them from being members of the student body to protect the athletes, what does that say about how the college is protecting the members of the student body? And if you don’t put them in a bubble, community spread is going to eventually infect the team.
None of you want to hear it. I can relate. Doesn’t matter how bad you want it to happen, it’s not going to happen.

On America's current path, you may not see college football again for many years. The virus isn't the problem. Your masters making decisions for the masses are the problem along with politicizing sports.

In all facets of life, I think we’ll look back on 2020 as the year when everything changed.
If pro sports has taught us anything, it’s that there has to be a bubble. No bubble, no ball. But you can’t put the football team in a bubble if they aren’t employees. I could see a framework where the scholarship is replaced by an employment contract with classes, a road to a degree, as part of the compensation. Tuition assistance plan. Sort of a quasi armed forces college degree program.
Now you won’t have 135 FBS teams anymore. There used to be talk about super conferences and conference expansion when TV contracts next came up. I think it’s going to be contraction. 20th Century was the century of physics, 21st will be the century of biology. I remember the ACC with 8 teams, the SEC with 9, the Big 8, the PAC 8, and a Big 10 with 10 teams, plus the old SWC. I doubt Wake Forest, Northwestern, Cal, Illinois (bankrupt state), Vandy would do it. You have 40-50, give or take, that do this.

The Atlantic??? That is a left-leaning liberal magazine that wants everything shut down. And you are an Ohio State guy? You also don’t want any fall football because Ohio State is looking very foolish right now. We are not buying your post dude!
