Since this all happened fairly quickly after the season, this was going on behind closed doors and kept under wraps. Unlike Chavis who checked out and should've not even coached his last game, Steele didn't abandon his team and helped contain one of the best offenses to 27 points--far below their norm. He wasn't the answer, but did a decent job with the lack of depth the donut-loving Chavis left him.

Future is bright. Feel much better now than last year

Like him better than Chavis already.

So glad Chavis left for a team with a great offense.

Yeah he's got my respect for that. Coached a pretty good game at that. Didn't do too bad for a one year lease outside of some broken assignments in the secondary. I'm so pumped about getting Aranda.

Chavis is a POS in my book...he quit on his team. Mailed it in. He should have been fired anyway before that but the bowl performance was dogshit.
