It is so nice listening to someone call an SEC game that is objective and not biased like Uncle Verne was. Now if we could get rid of Danielson and get Todd Blackledge back it would be even better.

It wouldn’t be long before LSU fans would think the Blackledge was against them, too. They will begin to hate Nessler as soon as he points out that a Penalty could’ve been called against us

I don't mind Danielson and think he's one of the better commentators in the business. Verne was awful.

I like danielson
I like him mainly because he sees little things and nuances that are the difference between a good player/team and a great player/team. It's almost educational, if you're willing to listen.

Verne wasn’t biased. And i’ve never heard a good reason to support that he was.

Daniel son has a bit of a cocky inflection, but he does know his stuff. He's a good color guy.

Anyone who bitches about Gary Danielson has little to no appreciation for the nuances of football and the "chess match" that it is.
Danielson is the best I've ever seen/heard. His ability to watch a play in real-time, dissect it, and provide the audience with analysis before they even show the replay is uncanny. I still don't understand how he seems to be watching all 22 players at once.
Most analysts just tell the audience simply what happened. Danielson tells the audience why and how it happened.

I kind of like Danielson now that he is not tied with Uncle Verne. But the Nessler, Blackledge combo was by far the best combo in the biz.
