Not even talking shite, but I don't how y'all win this game. Sure, you are at home.
Sure gameday will be there for the first time in a decade (for whatever that's worth).
Ok so let's talk football.
I know last year was last year and this season is a new one, BUT how in the hell is the team that sported the 4TH WORST PASSING DEFENSE (out of 130) in D1 supposed to beat a team that the national media holds in a consensus top 10 type high regard (defensively speaking).
Ok so you say we have young corners, true. Derrick Stingley Jr. was the highest rated corner coming out since Patrick Peterson. Peterson didn't start until game 6 of his freshman year, Stingley as we all know has started from game 1. Don't forget that he has been practicing with the team since last year. Our coach said he would have started the bowl game for us back on January 1st. Fulton is also a top 10 prospect according to kiper. The best safety in college football protects the back end while tackling machine Jacoby Stevens is someone who much like Delpit makes plays all over the field. I respect your offense, I DO NOT respect your defense. And while yes the big 12 is a pass happy offense, which leads to skewed defensive statistics, y'all name how many starters from your defense will be drafted. All shite aside (once again) every single starter from our defense will be drafted, and many more backups as well.
If you think LSU is still "breaking in" a new offense and that the Georgia southern win is meaninglessness, I say fair. I guess the game comes down to can y'all get a stop or can we keep the offense rolling. I'll go with the team that is lead by a fifth year senior at QB that YOUR HEAD COACH talked Urban Meyer into recruiting at Ohio State. We have the number 1 tailback of last year's class in our backfield along with 4 others that will all contribute. Y'all have what, 1 scholarship back ready for Saturday? Please just let me know what I'm missing.
LSU 38 Texas 20.

How did the Giants beat the undefeated patriots in the super bowl?
Coaches game plan, and players try to execute gameplan. Whichever team executes their gameplan better will win (assuming one teams coaches doesn’t just vastly out scheme the opposition). In a game where there is a huge talent discrepancy, a team that doesn’t execute their gameplan very well can still win. In a game where the talent level isn’t a huge gap, then execution of the gameplan determines the winner.
The game isn’t decided on paper and what they have done previously. The game is decided on the field. The team that executes their gameplan the best will win.

So basically, Herman out strategizes Aranda or does he figure out how to stop Joe Brady? I still say advantage LSU

Not necessarily. Coaches do their best to try and expose the opponents weakness. Players still have to play.

When “our coach is good as an underdog” is your 2nd or 3rd talking point about why you think you’ll win the game, it’s a bad sign.

Turnovers and penalties are just a couple of ways Texas could win. shite happens in football and sometimes all it takes is a momentum changing play to turn a game completely around.

Not quite sure where I said that was my talking point. I basically laid out the facts of how a winner is determined in a football game. However, coaching is a huge aspect. In game adjustments determine whether you allow an opponent to just continue to expose a hole that they have been able to exploit, or to correct that hole and force the opposition to find another way based on your adjustment. The in game chess match between coaches is just as critical as the execution of it by the players. Don’t really see how one could argue against that. It’s the same in literally every football game.

There is no point to this exercise as all responses just get called delusional.
Lsu is a good team
Texas is a good team
They play with an oblong leather ball that bounces weird.
We'll see how the teams execute on saturday

Sounds like you agree that LSU is the better team, but you are correct that weird things can happen in a football game

Sure. And with Aranda on one side and Brady on the other, I don’t think that area is as slam dunk a win for UT as Longhorn fans think.

A) No, they arent
247 composite rankings for talent for each team lists LSU @ 5, and Texas @ 7
B) A “WAAAAY” more talented team can still lose if they aren’t able to execute the gameplan. Tennessee @ 15 just lost at home to GAST @ 106

I didn’t say who had the edge one way or the other. I’m simply stating how the game will be won.

Wouldn’t happen to be the same elite defense that gave up 38 to that same Patriots team not even 4 games before that right? What changed? Gameplan.....and execution. Argue with it til you’re blue in the face. The fact will still remain.

247 and TN are both straight GAHHHHBAGE!!! Wanna talk talent, most of our damn defensive players could play both sides of the ball in D1 and we have quite a few that we yanked out of the Longhorns hands lmao... get out of here. LSU wins
