Poorly informed on LSU.
Definitely. Never mentioned Blue or Hilliard, only Hill. Never mentioned Dural or any receiver besides OBJ and Landry. They're in for a rude awakening if they sleep on Chavis' defense, despite all the "graduates" that left.

Where did the myth come from about LSU's and Les Miles big game bubris?

1/9, Bama 2012, Clemson.

The past is forgotten. LSU needs to earn it back.

Love your analogy to the Battle of New Orleans, whose bicentennial is less than a year and a half away. The X factor in that battle were the Baratarian pirates commanded by Jean Lafitte, who provided rifles, flint, and powder to Jackson’s army as well as 1000 skilled marksman and artillerymen. LSUs band of blood thirsty pirates are its rabid fan base, who are set to invade Arlington in a matter of days. Everybody knows that LSU fans don’t just Travel, they take over. And seeing as how there are easily three times as many LSU fans in Texas as TCU fans, this game will be no exception. The Tigers are undefeated at Jerry World, and Tiger Fans are undefeated at road tripping. LSU 34 TCU 10 Post game meal: Frog Leg Sauce Piquant!

glad we have Cameron to analyze their defense and attack it rather than just trying to run the ball.

we layed that egg in 2011 NC and that stuck with lots of people. never mind how many big games we've won. all people remember is we lost to bama twice in a row.

Hell, after the 1/9 debacle, before we ever even played them again last year, people were saying we had to "break the losing streak" against Alabama. I swear to you, LSU fans were saying this.

Problem is, now they'll be right. But at the time, the "streak" was...one.

Perception is reality, I guess...I just wish someone would post all the coaches and teams with better records against Saban and Bama. TAMU doesn't count...gotta have a minimum of 4 games against him.

Miles and Chavis should read this story. The writer has just revealed the Frogs secret playbook.
