So is it possible for me to tent camp near the stadium in Omaha? Trying to avoid paying for a hotel for the entirety of the CWS.

I mean, I'm sure the weather is loads better up there than Baton Rouge, but seriously? You really want to sleep on concrete?

Get a room at a motel for 100 a night with 3 friends. That is worth way more than complete misery out there.

Looks like there's a KOA just under 30 minutes from TD Ameritrade.

Just make a big sign that says "Will cook Cajun food for room" and some friendly Nebraskan family may scoop you up.

I stayed in a tent in 2009. It was close to 100 degrees every day, was miserable when it rained after game 2. Think the campground was about 15 mins from rosenblatt

There is Lake Manawa just across the river in Council Bluffs, Lake Cunningham, on the North end of town, its just north of I680 and 72nd street also has camping. Dodge Park, north of the airport a few miles, also there a few State Recreation area within 30 miles of the city
