This is the medicine we need. If JD can't do the forward pass thingy against these guys, then it really is time to start giving Nuss meaningful snaps.

Name a good secondary that we’ve played.

JD is starter because he’s not errant with the passes because he doesn’t pass well…

Yeah, Tenn has some defensive problems. Florida's QB shredded them for over 400 yards and they gave up nearly 600 yards of offense. But JD is going to have to let the ball go and take some risks (and Denbrock is going to have scheme up some easier pass plays).

I’m not saying receivers weren’t streaking open last night, but Auburn’s pass defense is statistically solid.

And MSU manhandled A&M.

Bad for us because our QB can’t throw

Forgot the post but we didn’t put half the yardage up that other QBs have thus far. We made their defense look playoff worthy.

Yeah, a chance. I'm not saying bench JD. I'm saying if he has 20 yards passsing after the 1st quarter against a bad secondary, give Nuss a couple series. If daniels isn't going to progress, start giving the young gun a few series here and there. Hopefully Daniels shreds Tennessee and it's not an issue.

I think a bunch of us would like to see Nuss get more then mop up duty against Tennessee’s hillbillies. JD is most assuring in the run game, but either his WR’s are horrible ( I not believe that for even one second ) or JD lacks a significant enough passing game to beat a really good team. From what I saw yesterday, we are in for some serious disappointment because of #1 -( bad QB awareness, passing technique, and indecision by our starting QB). I felt like the defense was spotty ( great moments with awful moments ). The offensive OLine coach has done a very good job considering the changes each week to the starting lineup.
#2-OC is relying to much on Daniel’s legs ( I’m afraid he will not be able to make it through the season ). The defense won this game against Auburn … not question about it. #3 - Coaching must get more into preparing Nuss to take control in case Jayden goes down early in a game. I love the fight in these young men and truly thankful there was not a significant spinal cord injury to Banks.

No matter how many times you dip shits repeat this doesn't change the fact that Daniels can't throw the football effectively.

I’m sure this means our “receivers aren’t getting open”.

And our QB can’t throw. The Richardson example is meaningless because he made throws all day that JD will never be able to make.

THIS. If he would just throw the 50/50 balls downfield and let his receivers work (the ones that can catch the ball), I am convinced that doing this one thing would greatly improve the offensive game. Hell, if nothing else, it would open up his ability to run the ball simply due to the potential deep threat. Right now, there is none.

Lucky for them because LSU cannot pass its way out of a wet bag.

Too bad we won't be able to take advantage of it.

Will never happen. Kid is scared shitless to throw anything more risky than a checkdown.

Frankly I don't even know why he bothers looking down the field after the snap, because he never throws it there.

Look , Nuss is green . Alot of you are 100% convinced he is not the answer . He hasn’t played a full game . Granted he made bad decisions against Southern . He played very well in mop up against NM state . He had 3 drops on very catchable balls against Auburn , but I thought did very well . Now , JD has hit his ceiling and it ain’t very high ( more like a basement ! ) Get Nuss involved in case he has to step in for JD . With JD body build and the running he wants to do , he may very easily get hurt in the SEC . Get the # 2 guy ready .
