Visited with him on pro day and must have been impressed because they said earlier he was not on their radar and would not bring him to Nashville.

Wizenhunt is new HC and he had similar QB in Kurt Warner.

Great landing spot for Zach....

That's great for Mett, but he's nothing like Warner.

No weapons there right now, but it would definitely be a spot where he could compete for the starting job at some point.

It would have to be a 3rd round selection b/c Tennessee does not have a 2nd round pick.

They have a great, young defense that is always highly beneficial for a young quarterback. I know they cut ties with Chris Johnson, but they potentially have a good receiver in Justin Hunter. I could see Mett playing for Tennessee. Sucks for Jake Locker because I think he could potentially be a good quarterback. He just can't stay healthy.

Yes they are similar in style, they are both tall, pocket passers who lack mobility. They must execute the play in rythm before the pocket breaks down, within the frame of the offense.

Warner is more adept at precision and timing throws.

Mett has the big arm, needs work on shorter timing throws.

Pretty similar..

By the way, mettenberger and roethlisberger have similar names.... But they have no comparisons game wise.

Big ben and Cam newton have more in common, both are big and can run, and excell at making plays after pocket collapses.

Kendall Wright and Justin Hunter are the best young WR duo in the league. Not to mention a good TE/H-back in Delanie Walker and possession WR in Nate Washington. Good to great O-line and a solid defense.

This offense will be better without CJ.

I'd really hate him to go to the titans or jags as a Texans fan.

As a texans fans ....draft clowny with the first pick and get Mett in the second

It's not that big of a stretch. Hunter has some work to do, but Wright is there. What young WR core would you prefer? Not trying to argue, just curious.

This is a MSB discussion, but to say they are both young is fine. But the titans do not have a notable receiving core. They have two young receivers but I would say they are below average in terms of skill players.

Regardless, it's one of the possible landing spots for mett that I have mentioned before, and it appears that they are interested in him for their 3rd rd pick. Good for him, wiz is a good corch that needs another shot.

Great analysis genius. You say it's a big stretch but can't name a better young duo. Enlighten us

The offense will be better because munchak is gone gone not because cj is gone. He will be missed. Munchak ruined him. The dollars are why we got rid of him. For 4 mil a year titans would have kept him. I heard this direct from Mike Keith.
