Temper Expectations

The new coaching staff will need time to make adjustments. It would not surprise me if we continue to struggle for a bit but there should be a fresh sense of optimism on the sidelines and hopefully, a change in offensive philosophy as well.
If any of the players cant get behind what's happened and move forward giving it 100% from here on, they need to ride the pines.
As for me, I've never hid the fact that I'm one of miles biggest detractors (mega-Nega), but I'm turning over a new leaf.
I've been singing "I can see clearly now, the rain has gone" all afternoon.
It's time to get behind these kids and the coaching staff and finish strong.

I firmly believe the plays are there and they practice them. The problem is that they were never called

Yes the playbook will be the same but the play calling will be different. I doubt we see the iso and toss run combo over and over again.

Don't be surprised if you see more of the same against Mizzou. It's technically a short week (considering we have 5 practice days before the next game, so that isn't enough time to get anything new established to a degree of being comfortable to run live.
I'll expect more of the same, with some different situational play calling, until the S. Miss game. By then we will have had enough time to see real changes in the play book. We will see though.

You're dumber than the day is long.

Coach O is interviewing for a job IMO.
We get a 180 degree change. Might lose, but it will look nothing similar.

Yes we'll see the same plays but probably called but with more variety

Earl, I know you're gonna miss the days of constant dik-riding with CLM, but don't hate son....its a new day!!!

Why do people tell everyone to not be excited about something on this board?

Well, just because I support the coaches (and players) at LSU, I wouldn't call it dick-riding. But I guess you would know, you seem like an expert in that field.
By the way, you seem to misspell a lot of cuss words, why is that? Mommy and Daddy frown on that sort of thing? Don't let them know you're into dick-riding, you might get grounded.

I've long thought LSU's practices were inefficient and there was no sense of "drills should be bloodless battles, battles should be bloody drills". That's what I expect to change, and it should be immediate.
The effect might be immediate, with this talent I would think so. It might now, but it won't be THAT slow in seeing during games.

Thanks. I'm honestly not angry. I have been a big supporter of Miles from the beginning, but everyone that posts on the rant knew that it was past time to make a change.
I hope there are good times ahead. I'll support whoever is hired, the same way I supported Miles.

Yes he will. Miles will be fine.

We are going to curbstomp Mizzou.

Totally agree Red. I've never wanted LSU to win more than right now.
