I've been watching LSU football for 50 years. Not one single time....EVER, have I felt the announcers were biased against LSU. Some fans are so damn sensitive they feel any negative observation toward a bad decision by LSU is an attack and bias against them.

Generally I agree, but I was expecting Verne to join the rammer jammer chant at the Bama game. It was ridiculous

Someone on my facebook feed posted a video of a guy "trying" to watch an Alabama game on CBS but "Verne and Gary hate us so much", so he turns the volume down and turns up his radio to listen to whatever chucklehead does their games.

I avoid as much FB interaction as possible but I wanted to come through the the screen and throttle that person. I swear, they try to fabricate this victim mentality for whatever reason, I have no idea.

Eh. I think the whole "xxx hates LSU" is silly ......but Verne really does hate LSU. You can hear it in his call. I think Danielson is a good analyst though.

Either way it doesn't really matter

im not sensitive about espn or others. ive always liked verne and gary. that being said, ive noticed that bama brings a little more emotion out of verne since his "canteen boy", tebow, left school. i notice the inflection. TOUCHDOWNNNNNNNN ALAABAMMMA !

I agree except for CBS. I think it has something about us not wanting to be on CBS cause it's usually a daytime game. But the last several years it's been pretty obvious. They have no love for LSU. When we played Bama and held the ball the 3rd quarter we ran off 23 plays to their 3 and you would have swore Bama was killing us. CBS has been pretty bad

You people need to calm down. None of that is true. The media is reacting to an folding fiasco. It's their job. LSU should handle this better and your concerns dissipate.

Agreed. I don't mind any other announcers. I even like Gary. But Verne needs to go. If LSU makes a huge 30 yard play, he'll give credit to Alabama for making a nice tackle. Not to mention that Gary always has to correct the multiple mistakes Verne makes every game.
