Yeah I am having some trouble with this one. UNC did go 1-2 this week, which may be enough to drop behind the 4-0 Vandy. Had UNC played and won tonight, the midweek wouldn't be a big deal what-so-ever. Split series with cancelation is a tough call. The more I think about it, I'm swaying to VU.

UNC went 2-2, they split with NC State, lost to a very underrated Wilmington, and beat Charlotte.

yeah... Vandy won 4 games against ranked teams this week... UNC was 1-1 vs an unranked team and didn't get a series result against a ranked conference team... may hve to think hard about putting Vandy #1 too

Before all you jabronies jump the gun and put Vandy over UNC and use the UNC Wilmington loss as a talking point, let's take into account UNC is 41-4 and Vandy 39-6 (with midweek losses to Tennessee Tech and Middle Tennessee). Albeit they still have a case to jump, it isn't a strong one imo.

People can say Vandy has had any easier schedule, but take a look at their stats and what they have done. They look like the #1 team to me.

They did go 2-2 this week, and Vandy beat 4 ranked teams including sweeping a top 10 team just MO.
