TD Baseball poll, but a little different: composite rankings

Someone needs to make a TD composite baseball poll averaging all the main polls. Much like 24/7 does with recruiting rankings which has become the main ranking people look at.
I am not sure if some are more well respected than others, but if so, we can weight them differently or remove outliers (which 24/7 composite should do).
Just an idea. Could see every fanbase referencing it instead of referencing all 7 or whatever at once.
"That ______ poll is trash, if you look at the TD Poll, you can see that we are clearly a top 4 team yadayadayadayada"

I think the Top 8 are:
1) UVA - 2.16
2) TCU - 2.30
3) UF - 2.66
4) LSU - 3.00
5) Vandy - 5.5
6) Oregon - 6.83
7) A&M - 7.50
8) S Car - 7.66
Could be wrong though.

Can we all just agree that whichever one has us highest that week is the official poll we will use that week? Sheesh...this isn't rocket science!

If no one else has done it by the time I get home from work, I may take a look at it. But there's very little chance I would update it weekly.

Chicken, get an excel spreadsheet together, plug in the logic, and boom, it does the math for you each week.
Imagine watching ESPN and them saying "UVA, #1 in TD Poll is playing LSU #4 in the TD Poll"

I see that CBI just does it by total points, and only goes to 20. Makes sense. How does TD propose we penalize unranked teams?

We don't. If any poll ranks them, they are ranked in our poll.
25 is an arbitrary number anyway. We could have 31 if we wanted.

I see what you're saying. Maybe we can give them a 26 ranking for each poll they aren't ranked in.

I did that. Only trouble I see with it is it punishes a team that is ranked in more polls, versus a team that is ranked in only one, but is higher ranked.
For instance, Dallas Baptist is ranked 20th in one poll, Arkansas 16th in one poll, but Ok. St. is ranked in two polls 23rd and 24th. So by average Ark and DBU are ranked ahead of Ok. St.

Maybe increase it? Give them a 30 for each non-ranking?
With 5 30's, the teams with only one ranking should get punished a lot.

That's how I did my ballot. Took a composite of five or six polls and moved them based on weekly performance

You are correct and add UCF and UCLA to round out the Top 10.
