The line was like that at 5 o'clock

I waited in an LSU Will Call line next to players guests line and knew there was no way those people were going to see the first couple innings.

One of the 4 in our group went to window next to the LSU Will Call window with the huge line that I waIted in and asked if that was the correct line.

Woman at window said I can help you and gave him our tickets. LOL

Anything managed by the NCAA is FUBAR

First trip since Rosenblatt, huh? Omaha is still a great experience, but nothing like it used to be.

Rosenblatt was an amazing experience. It's a shame it's gone.

It would be so easy to improve this situation - open more gates to accommodate the large crowds and have more people working concessions. Or put more time between games.

A great event like the CWS needs to be run like the first class event that it is.
The NCAA has pretty much guaranteed Omaha that the universe will end from heat death before they move the CWS. Combine that with a "big crows no matter what we frick up" mentality, and there is ZERO motivation for them to improve the situation.

Umpty years ago, when cross-country travel was actually a big deal, Omaha made since. The nostalgia of playing in the old stadium made since. But now, playing in a sterile TD Ameritrade park, I feel it is time to start looking at other venues; and I'm just about as nostalgic and traditionalist as you can get.

Just my humble opinion.

Though Hoover and Atlanta can both go frick themselves too with their locks on the SECT and SECCG.
