For perspective, he played against actual defenses in two years with the Tigers. I wish him nothing but the best, but you must not watch a lot of Big XII football.

and now he has a qb who can actually throw a decent pass to him

Johnson and Dupre were both 5 star guys

The vast majority of the other ones listed were 4 star guys....which is what I said 4 or 5 star guys

That WR attrition was bound to happen regardless of coach or system when you bring in 6 four and five star WRs in every class

Wish Les would've signed more OL DL and LBs

Big fan of Diarse. Happy to see it worked out for both parties.

Johnson was not 5 star, he was high 4, 5-stars are top 30 or so. And no, the "vast majority" of the other ones listed were not 4 stars...almost 50 percent of the WR recruits the last 5 years were less than 4-star recruits including Dural. Perhaps the ones that remain on the team are mostly 4-star but not the recruits "brought in every year."

And furthermore... that is NOT what you said... you said:

"...bring in six 4-5 star WR recruits every year."

There has never been six WR recruits in one year, much less six 4-5 star WR recruits "every year." That statement is total BS and believing that type of crap about every position is why LSU fans become delusional.

Just stop with the BS, the truth is strong enough.. and if you don't know what you are talking about, do some research. Google is your friend.

Not so fast dude...with the way CLM played favorites, I could see those guys helping out...
But then again, I see you play favorites, too...

No one mentions James Wright playing in the NFL? You don't even need to catch any passes at LSU to play on Sundays.

Remember he won the Wisco game for us in Houston with a great run after the catch.

The average career of an NFL WR is 3.3 years ( SOURCE). RR played for 6 years.

Did RR play on the 2011 team? Let me see. I think he did.
So he played in the NFL 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and released this year. That is four years.

Bowe was a Saban Recruit. He played for two years under each of them.
Rueben Randle was released after a short NFL career.
You think Beckham wouldn't have been a star somewhere else?

If Saban ever had a conversation with the kid? Saban's a genius.

If Miles recruited and signed the kid? He would have been a star anywhere.

Sabanistas NEVER change.

it really wasn't the point of my response.
It's hard to understand why LSU has been successful recruiting WR in the last several years when you consider what a dumpster fire our passing game has been other than 2013. Our passing offense has been dysfunctional for years with so much emphasis on pounding the rock.

Yeah, my bad. Still played longer than the average NFL WR, which was my whole point. Calling it short IS dumbass.

Diarse will now be drafted whereas he would have to go the FA route if he stayed here!!

How great are Dural, Dupre or Chark's numbers? Most of the time we are only putting two receivers split out and it was frequently only one receiver formations in the past.

This is flat out wrong.
