I don't see it as Blue hate as much as stating the facts. For the most part he ran soft. He did miss a blocking assignment and the fumble was just as much Mett's fault as his. Travin D. is over-rated. He disappeared late in the game. Boone and Wright are going to need to step up. And a tight end is going to have to be utilized. The trows to the running back that we wanted to see never happened except a few to the full backs. Loston still goes for the big hit instead of rapping up. He has never learned proper tackling technique and will get his neck jammed before this season is over. Where were the linebackers? Last night they were without a doubt our weakest ling on defense.

Red Zone execution must improve. There are many more options than running 3 straight plays off of left tackle. Where is the creativity - where is the riverboat gambler.

Did anyone but me notice that LSU run 80 plays against TCU? That is That is one of the effects of the Cameron offense. Get to the LOS and run a play. 3rd down conversions did not hurt either. Execution ....Execution. Believe me it will get even better. This was the first game.

I think it's very surprising we ran 80 offensive plays. We DO NOT run a hurry up which is usually the way teams get to that many plays ran in a game. We let the play clock go down under 10 every single time and MOST of the time under 5. Just goes to show how much we controlled the clock and how long we had the ball last night. We had the ball for 36 minutes to TCU's 24 minutes last night.

A little concerned about the LB play (or lack thereof).

Didn't Mett have trouble recognizing these last year? I think that's the only one of Mett's bad habits from last year that carried over from last season. That is fixable. He's going to have a great year.

13-19 3rd down conversions will do that. I think we only had one 3 and out.

So a freshman after his FIRST college game is over rated? Seriously?

TJ Teldon had 16 of his carries go for only 49 yards. I'll let you do the math. He obviously sucks. P

Yeldon's line sucked. Blue looked rusty but i dont think he had a terrible game.

I only fault him for the fumble. His lack of yards on a few plays was the O-line's doing, not his.

Both of those were on the RBs. One was Blue and I think the other was Magee. Mett had no way of knowing they would blow their assignment.

He is a redshirt. And what did he do? He has been hyped up a bit. His speed and size is all we have been hearing since last year. Did you see him make a play?

Jalen Collins seemed to be the opposing QB's favorite target. He needs to stop getting turned around. Loston looks like a stud though!

I'm more concerned with his ability to pick up the blitz. He missed two IIRC.

All i saw him do was not go after the ball hard enough on the throw to him in the end zone and then he disappeared, no doubt. I certainly wouldnt call him "over rated" after one football game though. Thats just short sighted.
