I been reading all the negative talk from us and the talking heads. But my question to you guys is really looking back at the last 2 games...Take away those horrible fumbles and we are totally different team with blow outs.

What are your thoughts?

Take away the fumbles, but do we score and does it stop all of their momentum?

Like looking at the Auburn fumbles.....We were on the two yard line that was easily going to be 7.
The second ZM fumble was at mid field and was on third down.. not going to try to predict the outcome although he changed momentum and gave them a short field.

Against Towson. Ford and Hillard had horrible Redzone fumbles. Although we recovered Hillards Second his first was when we were actually driving and pounding there defense. And Ford had really dropped one that was in scoring range.

I agree 1000%. I guess maybe the drop in polls and all this negativity is just from mistakes and not lack of talent. I am as frustrated as the next man. but to say that we will lose all of these games against Florida and SC and Texas Ags is crazy.

We showed Washington how good we were when we controlled the ball. Not to mention they came out the next week and beat the number 2 team in the nation.

yeah but if we keep fumbling then we cant say oh just take them away and we roll. thats like saying if ND didnt turn the ball over in the redzone ever week 4 times they would have been in the BCS. Well they did turn it over so they watch on TV

Our RBs have been great regarding fumbles up until last game, so I'm not worried about that going forward. As long as Mett improves his ball security and pocket awareness our offense will stay on track.

In the Les Miles system what you see is what you get.

When Towson puts eight and nine in the box and stops your run and forces you to throw and you can't compete I start to lose faith.

We had this happen in back to back games. Hopefully we don't have penalties and no fumbles. Defensive play from LSU and Florida's mistakes will dictate this game. IMO

doesn't work that way. Can't take away something that happened.

Now if you can figure out a way to stop future fumbles than yes, that would help

but we don't control that as fans

and if your uncle took away his dick he would be your aunt

If we take away the fumbles can we take away all the dropped passes and penalties too because then we would be even better.

True, there's plenty of miscues to clean up.

But turnovers are the most devastating to an offense. I think our RBs had 250 something carries without a fumble lost before the Towson game. As long as Mett improves his ball security issues, we will be hard to beat.

I get the reality that the fumbles dont disappear and they obvisouly put us in comprimising situations. But if we clean those up i dont see the lack of confidence that will allow thsi to be a championship caliber team. I am still feeling good about it.

But I am riddled that we put the ball on teh ground so much. I havent figured that part out yet.

They still aren't blow outs. AU is probably 17-3 or so.

But you can't just take away the fumbles. How would the score look if Towson hadn't turned the ball over like they did?

We would still have an inaccurate QB who runs like a newborn giraffe and can't get any protection.
