Free throws, 3-pts, fouls, injuries, “questionable” coaching, youth, etc. This team is like a roller coaster but has been winning games. Who isn’t liking what is out in the court this season with what we have this season?

No team is perfect especially with roster turnover today but this team fights all the time and it’s hard not to love a team like that.

Three point shooting has improved, it just doesn’t stand out because we still go stretches without making anything and there were a couple bad games as outliers. I just ran through the box scores quickly and I think we’re at 40% in January.

Agreed. They play hard as hell and seem to feed off of each other’s energy. Super fun team.

The refs were the most fair they have been all year to LSU in SEC play, but they still had two atrocious calls in crunch time against Shareef (one taking away a huge basket) that LSU had to overcome.

For what it’s worth I respectfully disagree.

Will Wade is true to his system. He has recruited this team to play balls out, pressure defense. He is banking on most of his points coming in transition and attacking the basket. That’s his style and that’s how he built this team. The injuries are significant because you need bodies to accomplish what he wants. All the fouls and turnovers are a consequence of this style of play. If your waiting for a philosophical change you’re going to be disappointed.

I enjoy this style due to the effort and hustle and I think this team will be in the thick of it once healthy.
