I will be coming in town for the Ole Miss game and bringing a friend who has never been to an SEC game much less Tiger Stadium. Although it's an afternoon game I want to give him the best experience possible. I know there was a thread on here in the beginning of the season with a bunch of recommendations. I've tried to search for it, but can't put my hands on it. Any info on areas to go or a link to that thread would be appreciated.

Sounds like it's a first for both of you???

Parade grounds on down towards the stadium is rocking with heavy tailgating, beer pong, good eats, rocking tiger fans...be at midway on down the bottom of the hill to see the band come down.

If you're earlier you can see the bus let the team off at the top and them walk down in their coats/ties.

I think that thread is probably gone by now...

anyway, try to get there early....make a big circle from the vet school by the military science area, around highland, through the parade grounds....

be sure to land up the hill from the tiger cage about 2 hours before game time, when the players walk down the hill...a half hour later, the band comes down the hill...then it is time to make one last pit stop for bathroom and drink before heading into the stadium....

for a good place to eat or buy drinks just off campus, check out the chimes....
