We went to Auburn last time. There is an RV park down the road about 2 or 3 miles from the campus. We stayed there with tons of other LSU people. Rode buses to and from the game. If someone around LSU had this they would make a killing only opening during football season. They had probably 10 acres of spots.

They hayfield RV lot is first come first served. People set up chairs and ribbon to save spots but you can move their stuff and park in the "saved" spot. They will be pissed at you. I know this from experience.

Hayfields is your answer, have done it every other year for as long as I can remember. Auburn could make a killing if they came around on Saturday morning with a honey wagon for water and sewer

I've never been to Auburn for a game. Not sure how it works, that's why I want to get there Thursday.

If this is the lot I'm thinking of, we tailgated there in 2008. We got there around 6am Friday morning and there were already some RVs there. If you check the Roll Call thread I started on here for this weekends game, you can see pictures I posted that are from the LSU at Auburn 2008 tailgate in the lot.

Be prepared, extremely high gas prices and a shortage of gas there right now.
