The Supreme Court Ruling this morning means we are ONE STEP CLOSER TO A NEW NCAA FOOTBALL GAME.

Go ahead and take my money. And give a portion to the college athletes.

I will never complain about paying players neither should any professed LSU fan.

We are a top 5 elite athletic department. We can pay with the best. If I were Nebraska or South Carolina or NC State maybe then I'd be worried

Just playing devil’s advocate but you do know college athletes already get paid right? No I don’t mean with a free scholarship either.

They already getting paid. ALL that matter are. If you at a D1 uni that excels in sports you are getting paid.

The ruling will further split the power teams apart from the average teams....

A good ruling for the players, but not a good ruling for college football, IMO.

Texas A&M finna eat. LSU endowment pales in comparison to A&M, and many other schools. If anything, I think the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer. We'll see.

Never said they weren't and I mean legally paid of course. Legally paying, there are 3 or 4 teams that can hang with us

With regards to any issue with college football, the expert, Nick Saban, has plainly said that this will only benefit the powers that be, the rich getting richer. His take, it will hurt college football, big picture.

He's whining and posturing like normal. If it happens like he says it will than the other elite programs are going to start over signing the same way they do.

The schools are not paying the players salaries.

This is all for NIL purposes. This means that the best player in the country can go anywhere he wants and get paid handsomely from jersey sales, autographs, apparences, etc..

Now, some schools (LSU included) are already out in front of this and will be able to maximize a players brand more than others. But the schools won't be paying players out of their endowment.

You can pay the players all the money you want, they will still have to perform on the field.

I don't believe that the referenced ruling has anything to do with NIL.

It was a BS excuse for not producing the game from day 1.

If it was and is such a great game that was wanted by so many, they could have made it and used random nameless faceless players and continued to sell it.

There was no need to have a current player on the cover of the game.

What people do with the game as far as changing roster names and things, are not the responsibility of the creator.

It doesn't specifically mention NIL, but it's laying the groundwork for it.
