Thanks, Solo. Is there a lineup for both teams listed?

Love seeing this too. Jay said our best OF is with Stevenson and Kling on the corners. If he can provide ABs, too, look out Pearson for that extra LH bat.

Love to see Dugas back in lineup making defensive plays. Also Milazzo is I’ll start day 1 but Neal will play a lot

What was the knock on Shores coming out of HS? Kid with his size throwing 99 doesn't show up to school often.

I'll wait for Lester Earl come in to tell me what Johnson really meant when he said that.

There was no knock. He had a high number.

Probably that Pearson, Jobert, and Paul could only make the routine plays.

Top 4. Little FB 93. (Working a lot of offspeed last 2 innings)

Nippolt- sinking liner to left and good catch by Pearson (playing very shallow)
JT- K swinging on 86 mph slider/cutter
Paul- K swinging on 87 mph off speed in dirt

Littles mix of off speed is good. His FB is not his best pitch imo.

Oh just wait until the first game in mid February in 20 degree weather with wind howling at 30 mph and see the freak outs.

I won't be freaking out. That just means I'll be cooking gumbo or chilli instead of firing up the smoker.

It’s a nice problem to have
Depth at c and at a lot of positions
Stop complaining about players
Having competition makes everyone better
Milazzo and Neal will both be needed and the best player will win out in the end

pretending that just two innings of a scrimmage in February gives you all the information you need to know is foolish.

I was being sarcastic homie. Thought that was obvious.

Bottom 4. Shores. FB 93-96

Neal- fly out to left field on 85 mph offspeed
Dugas- ground out to White cutting in front of JT. Great range and throw!
Jobert- shift on…BB
Pearson- fly out to right field.

Shores needs to learn to sit 96 then pull back for the 99 when he needs it. Hitting 99 a few times in the first two innings means nothing if it’s gone by the 4th. It’s a freshman thing where you haven’t quite learned to truly “pitch” yet. It was something that set guys like Nola apart even from his freshman year.
