Congratulations on your "hey hey look at me thread.. If you would have posted this two months ago like everyone else who posted the same thing, you might have made a little sense. What you are bitching about is something that no one is even talking about. From what I have seen the past few weeks, is nothing but excitement for the coaching staff (old and new) and hopefully a #1 recruiting class. So if you sit back and read your own post it is you sir who is a "negatiger"...

I'm amazed that some people think that calling fans stupid for thinking we could have done better in the last 2 years means they're somehow crusading for some righteous cause of bringing together a divided fanbase.
Most of the "negatigers" I've seen on this board are not even negative toward the team, they're negative toward posters like you. And I don't blame them one bit. This thread is poison, with no redeeming value.

This is something that just bugs me. It's dishonest.
We sure as hell "contended" in 2012, and we were the #1 team in the country in the first week of November in 2015. We "contended". Even after the Bama loss we were still in contention if Dak was able to pull off the upset of Bama, which many saw as a very realistic possibility.
We have "contended" to win the West into the month of November four of the past six years and seven of Miles' eleven seasons.
The people that bash Miles don't "just want to contend" for titles. They live in constant comparison to that program to the east and view every year we finish behind them as an outright and inexcusable failure, and that is simply childish.
But pretending like that's not the issue and saying "we just want to contend" is full on pussified bitch style dishonesty. At least own the envy.

You are reading me thread all wrong. I love the Tigers and wish them to be the best. This thread is about those that always complain about everything. If those people understood and have witnessed LSU football for the past 40 years, you would understand my thread. We are better now than ever. We are not in a down fall. Our best is yet to come. Older fans understand.

So our resources were grossly mismanaged due to fricked up Louisiana politics and corrupt state/LSU officials for many, many years and that's a good reason for us to continue mismanaging LSU's resources in the future? Makes perfect sense. There's one other team in the country that matches LSU's resources: Ohio State. No other school in the country has top 5 NFL talent and no in-state power 5 school to compete with, that alone should put us in elite status year after year. Get a clue

LSU should give out merit badges like they do for the girls scouts. Whenever some fan beats his chest about being a fan in the nineties or under the Curley years we can give that fan a merit badge. That way they can have a token that represents their perseverance and dedication to LSU.
