No. Done deal means done deal. Done deal doesn't mean that a faction can jump in and scrap things. That's why he is in hot water on this board.

how ironic coming from someone in the "he's just a troll" camp. I know multiple people who work in the LSU football program and athletic department saying Les was gone and Jimbo was a done deal. It fell apart. It happens. His wording was very confident but everyone else that I talked to had the same tone and one even went so far as to tell me exactly what the contract was. Unless everybody was trolling and it was a big joke on me coming from people who I've known since the day I was born

Even said the night before the election that his bosses at NBC or ABC had internal data saying Romney by something like 5 points but didn't want to release it to the public.
He ranks higher than DALSU just because he actually came back on Election day at like 11 AM, said "my bad" and then peaced out.

I know the exact positions they hold at LSU and they weren't pretending to know what they were talking about. Give it a rest you moron conspiracy theorist, we were deep in talks with Jimbo and it fell apart or higher ups intervened. You well know that nothing is done until the press conference, and in the case of Billy Donovan, even after that it was not done.
Dude was reporting that LSU and JF had reached an agreement. There was no way of knowing that some politician from another state that does not care about LSU football would come in from left field at the 11th hour and torpedo the deal.
If this is the standard you are going to use, you need to stop reading current events and stick to history.

As someone who has followed this situation way too closely from multiple local media sites, boards and radio. Seems like everything was done from the Jimbo side and not many could have predicted the LSU side would stop the deal. I would have thought a guy saying yes was a done deal too. I appreciate the info and ppl willing to share good news from legit sources. I blame politicians and admin. Nobody else.
