Also you said 1-0 on the third hitter. You meant to say the fourth hitter. Either way, it is still wrong.

If you don't see the issue with your post then let me break it down for you.
There should never have been a game 7. When Maineri yanked Bouman and put in McCune, Auggies system would have worked perfectly.

I've said already that I didn't think this was an Omaha-caliber team. But, like you said, that doesn't make Sunday's decisions or some others immune from criticisms. And like PurpleAndGold keeps alluding to, you don't have to be a top team to make it to Omaha just like being a top team doesn't guarantee you a ticket.

Exactly where did I say CPM was horrible for not having someone warming up
Secondly, don't assume you know what I was talking about when I mentioned Auggie having his bullpen ready after the third inning in post season play. That was just another example of why I don't worship at the CPM alter

Typically when people are having a conversation and one person directly replies to a comment related to one thing the other person assumes that the person is talking about said subject matter.
You responded to where I said most people with any knowledge of the game of baseball would not expect a coach to have someone warmed up 11 pitches into the game. You directly replied to that comment and said Auggie (SIC) disagrees with that comment.
You've already proven once that you didn't really know what was going on in the game since you thought Cartwright threw a pitch to the fourth hitter in the top of the first.

Secondly, you still don't get the fact that my mentioning of having a bullpen ready in post season play should be in direct correlation to the starting pitchers performance in regular season. CPM knew Cartwright was known for struggling at times therefore should have been ready

You said he didn't get yanked until he went to a 1-0 count on the hitter after his 2 consecutive walks.
The guy I corrected said that he hit a guy and then threw 9 consecutive balls, to which you defended by saying he walked two hitters and then had a 1-0 count on the next hitter before being yanked. You were wrong bro. Quit trying to dodge it.

Ah, okay, so you are saying that PM should have had a pitcher warmed up and ready to go faster than he did, which was 11 pitches into the game, because Cartwright has struggled at times.
