Possibly, but it would have put the pressure on them to score in 4 minutes when they had only scored once in the past 35 minutes of play. Worse case scenario is overtime.

Faking the FG was a bold aggressive move which worked except for the bad call. Worth the risk a that point even if it had failed on its own.

No one should have a problem with this play, even if he really didn't score.

I am no Miles fan, but people bitch he does not play to win (but to not lose). That is a play to win play.

Not only this play, but the very 1st play of the game where the kickoff was fumbled and LSU recovered..

I understand you need irrefutable evidence, but I think that is bullshite. Why can't they make the reasonable decision here? That's all I am asking, be REASONABLE. You have all the technology you could need and a reasonable person knows that is a touchdown.

Would have won if the refs had called it correctly.
You're right, great call by Miles and Cameron, lousy call by the refs. But the Miles haters don't care that LSU lost a touchdown because of a blown call by the officials and the replay booth. They just want an excuse to bad mouth Miles and the rest of the coaching staff.

Took multiple shots with him at the bar last night in Nashville for new years. Kragthorpe was mad that the refs cost him his time to shine. He pulled out his phone and showed the picture of him scoring immediately haha

We had opportunities to not be in this position to need that TD to win.

It did not help that we have a DC who was jumping ship.

CLM should have known he would not reconsider and should have not let him coach the final game.

OUr defensive calling helped lose this game

Didn't seem like he gave it an all out try, but i'm sure he did. Had he scored then the rant would praise a great call by CLM.

The replay angles available were not inconclusive. It was definitely a TD the refs fricked up.

It wasn't Kragthorpes lack of effort, Magee got in his way. Must have missed the call on the field. Great play, just Magee slowed it down.

Mastr, I am an old man so forgive me for probably not following proper posting etiquette on here, or for what you youngsters call hijacking a thread (I think) but another thing that bothered me and I was at the game watching. This may have already been discussed somewhere but again, too old and lazy to look at every thread since I just got home from Nashville.

Did anyone else notice on the last ND drive the right offensive tackle jumping TWICE before the snap and it was never called?

Yes I saw it a couple times it looked like the right tackle moved ahead of time but no penalty. I am at the game though so I'm not 100% sure he did

Anyone else notice Collins getting driven into the backfield messing up the whole thing? Like he didn't know it was a fake.

Refs were out of position for the call but how can the replay official not reverse....I thought this was one of the reasons we have replay. Obvious TD

lots of coaching fails in the game but in a championship game, that call would have been made correctly
