Yep, I was there. Talked to Stephanie and Willie. Both are excellent people.

He looks like his mom's family but got his speed from dad. His dad was the 2nd fastest player on the football team and I believe he ran the 100 in T&F. I'm not positive but he may have even been (-)11sec which was fast back then...especially for a white guy.

Congrats... I believe we saw more great catches (ESPN Top 10) from him in the last 3 years than any MLB player over the same period.

Agreed.. He definitely resembles his mom a lot. William was very fast. I believe he ran for 278 yards against Loreauville as a sophomore. Willie wasn't as fast as Andrew but he had a motor. Just happy for Andrew but selfishly wanted him to play for the Cubs.
