*Relocate the SEC HQ to another state
*Replace the directors of officiating, scheduling, compliance, and sanctions
*Play for ten seasons
*Compare results with the past ten years

I guarantee you'll see a difference. The home cooking runs rampant in Birmingham. (This would also permit us to finally play a baseball tournament in a decent location.)

I've seen the SEC progress to limits none of us thought was possible in my 41 years. Yet they continue to play around with the redneck good ole boy mentality when it comes to favoritism of their "cash cow" and home office team, Alabama.

Nobody denies Bama's greatness or accomplishments. Nobody denies that they have effectively rebuilt a modern day dynasty since the days of the Bear, thanks to Nick Saban.

But if the SEC truly is serious about being the best league in the nation upon which all other conferences try to keep up, they need to start being that way. Move the office to NYC. Get out of Birmingham.

Of course, we all know that will never happen. I've come to just expect it apathetically. Same way I expect D.C. and congress to run this country into the ground. But to say it doesn't happen - simply is turning your head to it the same way an official turns his head on a facemask.

I know it sounds like I care a whole lot more than I actually do. I really couldn't give a frick. But I will go to my grave saying that Bama has been getting preferential treatment since the days of the bear. It's bush league and it needs to stop. Especially if the SEC wants to keep progressing as the leader.

Just my .02 on the matter.

the sec refs are laughable. Usually they do seem to protect the teams expected to go to the big pay out games. I get it, but its a sham we have the worst refs in college football.
