He says about 60% of the offense was installed in the spring, have to continue learning the new terminology.

The new F-back position is similar to an H-back, Moreau and Moore cross training for both TE and F-back.

Good read. Can't wait to see the TE's do this year.

. It’s more of a two-tight end set, including the F.

I’m excited about it. Puts us in a position to be better. I’m excited about this new offense, excited about what Coach Canada has done for us. I’m looking forward to a great fall.

He was doing so well until this point. Coachspeak banality must be an addiction.

Moreau has been a nice surprise at TE (though mostly as a blocker). He's a tough SOB!

This board is going to hate jet sweeps like they hate the short side option soon.

Maybe, but I think the high number of jets in the spring game was to make BYU prepare for it, thereby opening up holes for Guice between the tackles.

That short side option was part of why Jordan Jefferson was so ineffective in directing the Tiger offense

Ensminger was widely regarded as a "thinking man's quarterback" when he flourished from 1976-1979. When he speaks, people listen

Jet sweep fakes are a great tool to get the linebackers off balance. You just have to actually do it every once in a while for the fakes to be respected.

I can't wait to see linebackers that can't tee off on the gaps.

I think it was to show the part of the offense that everyone knew was coming and can prepare for. Notice that they didn't exploit any of the weaknesses on defense caused by them expecting the jet. I think the spring game was just to get the foundation in. What they're going to install next are the adjustments to exploit the defenses when the defenses attack that foundation.

If the TE gets to carry on a jet sweep, is that called a jumbo jet sweep?
