TAF could really make this unique by adding a sound sytem by Les's statue. You'd walk up to it and press a button on Les's hat or belt buckle and the sound system would play some of his great quotes over the years...

Press 1 for... "Any time that you get beyond a team with victory, it's much easier to discount their abilities because frankly, you won that, and Lord, I'm thankful that we did."

Press 2 for..."I can tell ya this…We got that communicated to the field, but the difference is they didn't understand exactly what we were saying."

Press 3 for..."Certainly the greatest rivalry is to play with championship implications, and this certainly is."

Press 4 for..."The want to have our school as an alumnus be successful and do right things. That's my greatest concern."

Press 5 for..."I enjoy the position where we are in currently, but it will only be enhanced by the ability to achieve game-by-game the rest of the season."

No, I don't understand it. Provide me a detailed explanation. With charts and graphs. I expect this by tomorrow.

Never even heard of it. I stay away from Louisiana restaurants up here, none of them do it right.

You still haven't explained how hard it is to win 80% in the SEC. You understand it so very well, please provide me with a comparative analysis of Les to other well regarded SEC coaches.

That's where you drop the ball it's not about your so called graph and comparative analysis why coaches win, all the greats know it about one thing RECUITING if my players are better than yours I win you lose. With that being said and playing in the most talented conference in the country and win 80% of the game is not good it is great.

No, it's merely good. 1 NC and 2 SEC wins in 8 years is good, not great.

And if recruiting was the only important factor we would not have managed to lose to Ole Miss, Kentucky, or Arkansas during the Les Miles years. Recruiting gets you a lot of the way there, but coaching can make a good team great, and right now we are merely good because we don't have it.

Nick Saban LSU 48-16 Les Miles LSU 85-21 End of Story bottom line wins and loses. Coaching can make a good team great LOL tell that to Notre Dame they lost because BAMA's talent was extremely better hell you could have coach bama last night and they would have won. LOL

Im with you...

Gotta warn you though, you're looking at a very small window of opportunity wrt to fan support. More than 2-3 days after a NC and they'll be calling for his head again...

Well, I've got some bad news for you buddy, it appears that Clemson has better players than use, because they beat us. And even worse, South Carolina has better players than THEM! How will we ever beat South Carolina now that we have established, axiomatically, that they have better players than Clemson, and therefore, than us?

I'll give you this, you're spirited about this trolling thing.

You seem to think you know alot about football and seem real spirited about that good luck with that. You can cloud the issue all you want NF but Les is the best coach in LSU history 85-21. You seemed to be the one trolling and also good luck with that, and have a nice day.

No. The bottom line is championships. If a coach were to go 12-0 every single year and lose in the SEC Championship or NC he would have a great all-time record but would ultimately be a failure.

I don't give a damn about Miles' all-time record. If he went 8-4 every season and won championships, if it were possible, I would be okay with it. Do you think Giants fans care that they were 9-7 last year? No, they won the Super Bowl.

At the end of the day that is what you are measured by. Les has two SEC championships in eight years. That isn't even close to statue worthy.
