If Harris was smart he would bail after this season and start over fresh somewhere else. I would not say this except we all know Miles's history with giving back-ups their LEGITIMATE shot. See Jarret Lee.

Nah I like QBs with <20 QBRs hell I would have even had a better QBR than Jennings for the New Mexico State game and I wasn't even at the stadium. Harris must completely fail at reading the play book if he can't even get a remote chance. More likely the coaches are as wrong about Jennings as they were about welter though.

I think it is fair to let the QB battle continue.

Stoops let Blake Bell and Trevor Knight battle it out all last season.

BH had a bad game in his first SEC road game. Yes it was bad...but he's also shown plenty of good throws this season.

I agree. Steve Spurrier used to switch good quarterbacks all the time when he was mad or just as part of the gameplan. Even play to play sometimes. Wuerffel (sp?) was not even the full time qb his first 2 seasons. This method did not "break" them.

What if that did happen and your guy lost?
I'm guessing that you would say the thing was rigged, right?
Because you know waaay more than Cam who is the best one, right?

I agree, Harris should be going his grooming to take over next year, but Jennings threw the ball well last night. Our receivers dropped key first down receptions. Everyone on this board likes to blow Trey Quinn, but if you want to place blame, that is where it should be placed.

So sick of the dang qb issues and people trying to pick a starter. We are in a tough spot this year with our qbs & offensive identity. Jennings does not look very good and maybe Harris isn't ready to take over as the starter. I think we can all somewhat agree on this point.

But why in the hell isn't Harris being allowed to play a series or two as a change of pace for the offense?!?! Is he that dumb/untalented that he can't grasp 15-20 plays or so to run each game?! If so, why the hell did we recruit him?! Our coaching staff is doing NOTHING to make this kid any better or allow him some 'meaningful' game experience. If we would have set up a rotation with the 2 qbs to start the season, then we would be light years ahead of where we are now.

Any of you older folks remember Hodson & Guidry? Guidry would always get the 3rd series of each half & if he did well, he'd get a little more. Team & fans really came alive when he entered the game and BOTH qbs contributed to big wins in the 80's! Still can't figure out why this is such a hard concept to use when you have 2 qbs with similar skill sets?

Anyways...just my 2 cents

I agree he needs to play a lot for the rest of the season, but he doesn't necessarily need to start. I want to see the 2 QB system from here on out.

How did he get hurt? Did he drop the clipboard on his foot?

Jennings is not the answer for the future. It's time to play Harris or next year will be another flaming pile if shite at QB bc we will have another year where our Qb has virtually no game experience. I agree with trying Jennings last night, but the switch had to be made at the half, and we should never look back.

Have people forgotten the Auburn game?
Harris sucked worse than Jennings ever has.

How quickly you forget about the new mexico st game. Jennings is terrible and not the qb of the future. He hasn't improved all season and shows no sign of improving. Blew my mind that led did not pull him for a few series last night and put Harris in to see if tthey could get the offense jump started. It was like watching the championship game all over again.
