So they are the authority on officiating? Or just when you agree because it's for or against the team you hate?
No, dumb frick. If the announcers said that was the official reason, then it would seem logical that they got that info directly from the officiating crew or the SEC office. It's reasonable to assume that official lines of communication are established for these types of things when running multimillion dollar productions.

Its not like there isn't a precedence for refs being prosecuted by the feds for cheating - and those were NBA refs. They were using their positions to manipulate the final score of games to affect the point spread. This is not conspiracy theory - but fact. Do you honestly think based on what we see every week that the SEC refs are not affecting the outcome of games? If you think that, you're either a Gump or know nothing about football.

You understand my point, it does seem as though the games are not being called equally. Seems the refs have a knack for inserting themselves and affecting outcomes and that is illegal if it is systemic.

Then they called one of A&M a few plays later and tossed that kid. What was the difference?

Glory be though! Bama did get called for one holding call!! Hell, that in and of itself, makes it a good day of officiating.

So you're saying targeting cannot be called when it is a ball carrier being hit?

I've never seen a ball carrier called "defenseless" or "targeted" outside of a WR the second after he catches the ball.

Remember when the 12th man knocked out UT returner (fumble) w helmet to helmet? Same no call

I'm not disagreeing w Bama bias. Just saying ball carriers never get the helmet to helmet call. How many RBs have you ever seen get helmet to helmet? They get hit in the helmet more than any player
