i would love to have spurrier as the LSU hc

As would 99% of the FBS schools. Give him enough player talent, then watch out.

Like Spurrier said, a coach isn't always as good or as bad as his record shows.

Spurrier better try hard to sell that argument.

After he loses to: Alabama, Florida, Arkansas, and either TN or Clemson.

The guy had everyone believing in his silly arse again, after Furman, GEROGIA, and Southern Miss. Played a better than average team...and once again, got his arse whipped.

Spurrier is as relevant to these types of discussions as June Jones.

So losing by a touchdown and 2-pt conversion at Auburn is getting your arse kicked? We might be in for an arse kicking in a few games too then

so you think Spurrier would have a worse record than Miles had he been the coach this whole time?

Normally coaches do not criticize other coaches due to mutual respect for the hours they work and how frequently coaches change staffs. I think coaches are really close to crossing that line with Miles. I don't think the final chapter has been written on all this. I think there are still a few surprises down the road this season.

Why are people talking about and posting the fake FG from '07 like Les Miles and Spurrier call the Special Teams plays?

And FYI it may have hurt at the time but ever since then it has only benefited us. Since then I believe we have stopped 2 fake FGs and a fake punt thanks to our team always being in a defensive type special teams mode since that play.

I am 90% sure it would be better. Spurrier couldn't have walked into a better situation than to take over what Saban had built here.

He wasn't calling out Les, or even calling Les a dummy. Reading comprehension people.

“Of course, sometimes you can win and still be a dummy,” Spurrier cracked. “We’ve learned that recently, too.”

So who do you think he is directing that to?

SS comes in we probably save the Raiders from taking JR, cause he would have been yanked.

We would install an O that would have cost us 2007 NC. Then the lack of recruiting give a shits would catch up.

Spunky called Miles a dummy. Miles is up on Spunky 2-0. I'd rather be the 2-0 dummy.

Spurrier could have been talking about himself, replacing a Senior QB with a Freshman at Auburn?
That's about as stupid as it gets!! I guess the only difference is: he didn't win and neither did Dooley with 13 players on the field with 26 seconds to make a decision!!Dumb
