Jefferson and Lee do not look like they have it yet. 7-5 on the season will be optimistic. Can't we find better talent than these guys ? There better be some serious want to get better or else it is going to get embarrasing quick this September. Somebody help these frickers.

"They" broke JJ and Lee.

Fact.

Whole thing was mediocre. To hear Les say he liked what he saw from the qb's was laughable. Both looked less than average. They are right about the D-Line. It looks small in the middle and run stopping looks like it will be a challenge all year. Big O-Lines will be a problem...again.

Copeland isnt here yet but that could be a big help to this D line

Depending on Freshman to come in and take on that responsibility spells trouble. Where are the big D-Lineman on this roster, what is going on in the weight room? Undersized D-Line does not work anymore in the SEC.

Thanks for the ESPN number. And for giving those suckers hell. It just had to be bama and fla., didn't it? What if the game had gone into extra innings?

Anyone want to wager that ESPN2 would televise an entire LSU softball game and force Fla. or Ala.'s Spring game to play an non-televised entire 1st qtr.? Didn't think so.
I loathe both of those schools (esp. their head coaches), but I'd be pissed if ESPN showed anything else instead of their Spring games...

The team was split in half. To say that the defensive line is small is kinda stupid. I will have to watch my DVR to see Kelvin Sheppard because I didn't see him on the field just the sideline. The running backs looked very good and there were some holes to run through but when the hole wasn't there they actually knew how to make yards on their on. Jordan threw on good long ball and it was dropped. Who ever was suppose to be blocking Mingo failed. Jarret Lee was constantly rushed. There were several drops by receivers. But Lee looked the most composed of the 2. Jordan just can't consistantly throw the deep ball with any accuracy. Terrance Tolliver was very unimpressive. Minter made a lot of tackles. And Loston looked at home. He and Patrick Peterson look to be a great tandem.

Drake and Kelvin did not play, correct? Could that alone be the bulk of the reason the run defense was so poor?
