Moving on to the newest Tigers, Spotlight: LSU Basketball features freshman guard Tim Quarterman. Quarterman is the epitome of Coach Jones' evolution of the LSU program. At 6'5" and arms that stretch farther than that, Tim Quarterman is athletic, agile, and long. Seven inches taller than starting PG Anthony Hickey, Quarterman brings length to a back-court that has been plagued with sub six foot players for years.

And you saw what he was able to accomplish defensively. Having that length on the perimeter is a gift. I really hope Quarterman is able to accomplish similar results as Temple. I would love him to be a 4 year player for LSU who accomplishes the defensive prowess that gives him an opportunity in the NBA.

SoS...is it free admission to the scrimmage game wednesday ? The reason I ask it because it does not give you the option to buy tickets on the website.

As free as can be. They may even have cheap hotdogs again like the Bayou tipoff. They had $1 hotdogs...

I believe so. I'll have them framed at the end of this year... Will be a nice keepsake for our final four run.

I have cheap seats and mine look just like SOS's.
It might have to do with when you bought them.

I'm quite confident that Quarterman will be better overall than Temple when it's all said and done. People forget how ridiculously raw Temple was when he got to LSU. After watching him play in high school, I was shocked how valuable he ended up being on the collegiate level, granted I am in no way a scout or an expert on recruiting, etc. Quarterman is light years ahead in terms of polish out of high school(or seems to be).

About 3 Andre Stringers...

Honestly, you just look at the kid and he has the length. Supposedly still growing and may be more like 6'6" than 6'5". He played in an up-tempo offense in HS and has really fit in well.
