i think he could def make it in the NFL i would have said that before the start of this season he is a pro style QB his mechanics arent bad i could see him as a solid 2nd string in the NFL easy

jj and the general are a package deal.

i'm sure the nfl could turn a blind eye and count both of them as 1 draft pick.

So he went from Jarret Pick 6 to a legit 6th round pick.

Got it

Did you watch the games when those pick-6s happened? Do you remember how many of those picks went off the hands of our receivers? Do you remember several standard interceptions that became pick-6s because our offensive players refused to make a tackle.

Do you remember being behind in virtually every game before our offense took the field for their 1st possession.

It is pretty moronic to still hang that pick-6 Lee moniker out there. He just finished the 2nd longest streak of no interceptions in LSU history.

Look I'm a JL fan but you can't just wipe away all those pick 6s or blame them on the WRs or the O-line or whatever. JL threw some shitty passes back them and gift-wrapped many of those INTs. Hell, he still stares down his receivers a little too much sometimes for me, but not as bad as JJ does.

He said he never said that.

I never said wipe them away. I would argue that JL has wiped them away by throwing one pick in his last 140 or so passes and winning two big games for us last year cold off of the bench. In my opinion, it is either short-sighted or even stupid to overlook his record since the final pick-6 was thrown.

And, BTW, when a receiver flat drops a throw and it gets picked, and then returned for 6...it goes on the record of the QB, but IMO it is not the QB's fault. There were at least two of those.

Most likely true. Not sure why people worry about the NFL, all I care about is this season.

Definitely not overlooking his record since his last pick-6, I'm saying you have to look at the whole body of work. But even if all you looked at was his record since the last pick-6, I still think he has low potential to play on Sundays.

But I hope I'm wrong!

So I am hanging the "moniker" out there by pointing out that some idiot is now touting Lee as an NFL prospect.
I have always thought that Lee gives us the downfield advantage that JJ did not.
Just my opinion, we are 3-0. GFY

There are some absolutely horrible qbs riding the pine on NFL rosters right now, so anything is possible.
