Did any of you watch the game? Complaining about strike outs with that ump is comical. You can’t swing at what you can’t hit. And yet it was a 3-2 ballgame late. They definitely competed.

I get it. This is hard to watch. It WILL get worse before it gets better. In between now and after the Tennessee series this team will be hard to watch and the results will SUCK! Remember the schedule does get easier and Johnsons Teams have improved late in the year. He will get it figured out. This team will finish 15-15 to 17-13 range and be in position to host. Have patience and let the man work his process. Dont forget that we didnt even win the West last year and things turned out Ok.

frick that shite. They’re ball players not debutantes FFS. Throw the ball, catch the ball, hit the ball and run.
What needs to be figured out?

It is called being competitive So far against good teams, LSU isn't even competitive

Lol
3-4 in the bottom of the 8th w an 0-2 count isnt competitive?
Bad idea to throw a meatball there but we get out of that inning and the whole game is different.
To say that we werent competitive is one of the most ridiculous things ive ever heard. Its baseball man, sht happens.
If you went into that game 100% expecting to give Hagen Smith his first loss ever, youre the one who should be embarrassed

It's not unfair to expect this team to be better than 2-5 in SEC play. That's just unacceptable.

2006: 35-24 SEC 13-17
2007: 29-26 SEC 12-17
2010: 41-22 SEC. 14-16
2011: 36-20 SEC 13-17

All of those belong to Manieri except 2006.

Good thing we are 2-5

Also guys, we blew the game vs FL late and lost in extras.

We were only down 1 run in the 8th inning vs Arkansas/the nations best pitcher.

We could just as easily be 4-3 in the SEC as we are 2-5. Couple of games that came down to a single play or two

Delusional post; give some credit to opposing teams. LSU is just not going to win every game. No college baseball team goes undefeated. Get over it and enjoy the season.

The part that gets me, is fans not understanding that we saved our best pitching for Sat and Sunday. Then we go crazy about losing a Friday to the #1 in America at their home field.

are figuring out who they are against an insanely difficult first five series.

There are good bats and bad bats, and this team has an awful lot of bad bats. Jay thought he could turn those bad bats around but it's not happening yet. Bad bats can show flashes but almost always return to the mean with a large sample size. Pearson, Braswell, Kling, Neal, Frey can flash a good game then go 0 for 15 in a blink.

All of this to say we should have gotten more hitting in the portal. Taking Braswell is a big head scratcher because he's not a good bat and he's not elite in the field either.

You know the sign of a desperation type post. You pick one specific part of a game and act like the entire game boiled down to that one "close occurrence". That reminds me of people making a big deal in the Tennessee basketball game when Tennessee basically blew out LSU for 90% of the game and yet LSU did make one run where they cut the lead from like 20 to 8. Ended up getting blown out BTW in the end.

I never said LSU would win this specific Arkansas game. But apparently you believe that moral victories enter into SEC standings. The one who should be embarrassed is you. You obviously don't have a clue how to evaluate teams or programs for that matter. Even a blind monkey stumbles onto a banana = a few decent innings in one specific game doesn't change a damn thing...not a damn thing. Why don't you bring up the run rule games against LSU this season! You not doing that is what is ridiculous. Your post is a total failure!

Every team has close losses that they can claim they “could have” won in order to improve their record
