I don't usually write about the exploits of former Tigers in the NFL, but upon reading that Spencer Ware carried 24 times for 131 yards (including a run of 45 yds), and a TD, got to give kudos to the young man.

Ware was one of my favorite players. The guy ran so damn hard and always pushed the pile forward. Had good hands and was a good blocker. Loved him.

It's funny that people on this board didn't think he'd do anything in the NFL while predicting Keiland Williams & Michael Ford were going to light it up.

Darrell Williams will be a stud RB in the league too. Hope people aren't writing him off

He has filled in really well with Jamaal Charles coming back from an ACL injury.

Ware has been great in the passing game, too -- his receiving numbers are among the best in the NFL for RBs.

Guilty and I was wrong. I figured him at best role plyer, speed teams, etc, if I were the Texas AND STILL DIDN'T HAVE A QB,I would be proud to have him thhere.

Ware lost weight and is a totally different RB then he was his last years at LSU

Russell Shepard is the one I'm happy for the most. While he isn't lighting it up for Tampa Bay he does his part and just like at LSU never complains. This young man was never in any trouble that I know of....class act

He needs to lose about 10 lbs - not only for the NFL, but for now.

Either he loves playing great when I put him on my fantasy bench and terrible when I start him.....or I just suck at fantasy football....

Most likely the latter.

Always enjoyed watching Spencer at LSU. Kudos to him and all the LSU players tearing it up in the NFL.

Always felt he was our most complete back while st LSU. Ran hard between the tackles, soft hands on catches out of the backfield, and was really good blocking on blitzes.
