Such an awesome story!
I'm from Brusly and always root for Randall when he's playing. It's nice to know I'm rooting for someone who is awesome off the field too.
God Bless you and your son! Forever LSU!!

After the bitter loss as we were rolling out of the stadium, fans everywhere were very disgruntled, including me, but then my son grabbed my hand and said "Thanks Dad, for the BEST day of my life." The pain of the loss soon left and was replaced with a warm satisfied feeling that reminded me of why I was a tiger fan to start with

Great message. I have a friend with an 8 year old boy who was recently diagnosed with MD and they are they are traveling back and forth from Ohio to determine the type of MD that their son has. He recently went to an Alabama Game for the first and was treated exactly the same way by the staff. Nick Saban wore an armband for his son during the game and like your son it was the best day of his life. They have an article in the Tuscaloosa News under the title "Make a Dream come True". It's inspiring to know that there are still great people in this world and care about our children through our schools and college football. Geaux Tigers

I teared up hearing that quote from your son

Ditto. I am going to have my sons read this wonderful passage hoping they will appreciate all the things they have to be thankful for. All the best for you and your son.

I got nothing but Amen! I agree. My youngest has Cystic Fibrosis. I always wanted Dale Brown to spend 5 minutes coaching her in basketball. Just my thing.
