Believe it or not I'm sitting in line at the Hollywood casino buffet talking to Paul Ditzel. While talking about the upcoming game he mentioned how he hasn't liked how the Jarret Lee situation has been handled. Please know that im not trying to flame about the situation either way, I just thought that his insight was interesting.

I didn't realize that Paul Dietzel was coaching our team this year, going to practice everyday, watching game film, breaking down every snap, etc...

He mainly just said that he loves Miles as a coach but if he were coaching he wouldn't have benched the quarterback that had the team undefeated. He hopes that he gets significant time in the BCSCG

of course it's his "busines".

I'm sure he's still a fan & is allowed to have an opinion.

He is a great guy. Of course some of our posters don't feel that an LSU legend should be able to have an opinion if it conflicts with what they think. Saban will be held in high esteem later down the road. I still can't believe that there are still people mad a Paul D.

Many fans feel the same way

Miles at this point should not be questioned however...

You people are a bunch of disrespectful aSSES. Paul Dietzel is a class act and has forgotten more about football and how to deal with young men than all of you wise-asses will ever know. He was only giving an opinion, not judging or criticizing. Go read his book "Coach" before you blow off at the mouth. Oh ! sorry some of you probably can't read.

What a goof. Of course, ol Paul could've pulled him the next week, with the loss and all.

It's "Call Me Coach". I have an autographed copy. He's a very nice man.
