I'm not even sure where to begin... You haven't seen SU play much at all in the last 2 years or ever if I had to guess.

Only when they are on TV. I know SLU,ULM,ULL,LSU,Tulane,Mcneese, and NWst are all better. I have seen them more than SU. I know SU has some draftable guys every year but they are never good fundamentally. Like I said they might be better this year we will see tonight. But putting them up there with them is a stretch.

Frazier Hall is from Christian Life, I think he plays 1b and catches. He is a good friend of my sisters family. they go to a lot of games at the bluff and really have a good time.

My prediction: Chris Matulis officially makes his push for the weekend rotation tonight.

2008 Park Vista HS
10-0
0.41 ERA
.140 OBA
96 K's in 67.2 innings
South Florida player of the year.

......can't wait to see this cat.

Two quick things. Between 02-04 SU had 24 players drafted, more than any other team in the nation, including LSU. SU baseball was ranked by baseball america the 44th best team in 2000's.

Yeah we can read but your comment has nothing to do with them getting pumped for a baseball game. Do you say the same about Trent Johnson and the basketball team everytime they get ready to play someone?

I agree with this. Southern played three teams better than Nova this weekend and beat one of them (SDSU). They faced Solis from USD on friday and fared okay. Apparently they are throwing their ace tonight. But if Matulis comes out throwing well, then we could run away with it, based on their lack of relief pitching. They do have former LSU signee and high school teammate of Chris Hawkins, Toddrick Stevenson playing in the outfield for them though, and he is supposed to be pretty legit.
