It’s one kid. If Stingley and Emery had waited until today everyone would be praising it.
We have to do better on DL. But the sky isn’t falling.

Eta: Hanny is a massive douchebag if you meet him in person and is pissed he didn’t get Chris Blair’s job. Take what he says with a grain of salt

Nobody said the sky is falling, it's a just a little odd that our head coach who was hired in large part due to his supposed recruiting prowess can't close on big DL recruits.

The greatest irony is that the posters lauding the class today will be the exact same individuals excusing next year's lopsided loss to Bama because, gosh darn it, we just don't have the talent to compete with Saban.

Yeah. The difference between us at 6 and UT at 3 is less than 4 points. That’s like half a star on one player. WE HAVE TO GET BETTER ON DL. But this is a good damn class.

It's a good class. Anyone who says otherwise is foolish.
That said, you can't ignore that the HC significantly struck out on the position he both (a) has recruited extensively for 30 years and (b) said was the most important area to address if they wanted to beat his biggest rival. O kind of invited criticism by saying it was imperative that LSU get much better DL players...then missing out on most of the DL targets

I agree. We have guys though. If we strike out next year I’ll be concerned
