Just curious on what the win would do if anything against Tennessee. Looks like they moved us back to the South Carolina side on the bracket?

Just get at worst a 4 seed and let the chips fall where they may. When this team is playing well, even with the injuries and losses, this is still the second-best team in the nation.

I think it's complete bs that every team we've played the last 3 weeks have heard if they beat us they move up in the bracket. "With a win over LSU they'll move up blah blah blah" but every time they mention with a win from LSU they stay at a 4 seed... its pure bs!

There seems to be a pretty large gap between USC and the rest of the top 16, and most of those are fairly interchangeable.

And LSU was really the only team to challenge USC since SEC play started (average MOV of 26 points since Jan 1, excluding the LSU game).

Basically, I agree. Almost any seed 1-4 is going to be about the same as long as you avoid USC's bracket.

I swear a couple games ago they said if we won that game Creme would move us up to a 3. We won and he kept us at a 4.

No, They stated during game a win today would not move them at all.

We are playing teams that are not ranked and they are playing LSU national Champs and ranked.

We are winning games we suppose to win.

Iowa - 23-4, 3rd in the Big Ten… 2 seed

LSU - 24-4, 2nd in the SEC… 4 seed

Meanwhile other teams around the country are losing games but staying in front of LSU.

I fricking don’t understand this. Southern Cal or Iowa loses: “Ah, no big deal!” We lose: “Ack! Gotta drop them ten spots!”

The problem for LSUWBB is that the SEC teams we are beating are NOT highly regarded, ranked, or have a high NET.

The PAC12 and to a lesser degree the Big 10, have multiple teams with higher NET rankings.

Losing to Auburn and State has really hurt our standing along with our weak OOC schedule.

We beat Virginia Tech by 20.

They are ranked 5 spots ahead of us and we both have 4 losses.

All of this is true, but at some point some of these humans on the committee have to actually watch games and not rely solely on metrics.

No sane individual can look at LSU and say we aren't one of the 12 best teams in the nation, regardless of what the computer says.

I can guarantee you that no #1 seed wants to see LSU in the round of 16.

IMO, LSUWBB should be a 2 seed or the highest 3 seed at least. That should be born out when NCAA Ty play starts and progresses.

I have seen all the teams ahead of us play multiple games this year. (Yes, I have gotten into WBB!) I am confident LSU can beat all of them, even Carolina.

But, Kim has gotten so much criticism for her OOC scheduling that some are just salivating to underseed LSU at a 4.

They did it last year by dropping LSU to a 3 seed with their 30-2 record.

Guess they look like fools for that one.

2 good things happened today--Oregon State and Kansas State both had bad losses. If LSU wins the next 2, then at least 1 in the SEC Tourney (preferably 2), we should be a 3 seed, which is fine by me.
