LINK

What is it?

Just click the play button at the bottom to preview it. I was wondering if it was based off a song or just some riff they play because I like it.

I think you can "preview" it at the bottom of the page. I just found the website and uploaded it.

ETA: It isn't necessary to download it

Yea just click the play button on bottom and it gives you 20 seconds. Epic song. They should play it at football games too. They've played that at hoops games for years.

No, all we know is it's a great tune. There have to be band people that know.

This is correct. My roommate in the band says it's a simple, original piece by an asst. director. Pretty cool tune.

It's apparently based off of a Cirque du Soleil(sp?) Tune.

We call it Circles.

It's an original tune from the Asst. band director that is written in such a way that it can be looped and played for 15 seconds for 20 minutes.

The reason for it being called circles is simply because it is an easy hand sign for person leading the band to call it up quickly and get the band playing, say for example after the band has already finished playing the song called up for that time out and still has 40 seconds to kill.
