Something we might be overlooking when it comes to J. Lee.

He seems very comfortable, confident and ready at the start of the game. Although he's not starting, when he does get in the ballgame, he doesn't miss a beat. He appears to have a carefree attitude. As if nothing bothers him and that's a 180 compared to 2008. This got me thinking, maybe he likes this roll. Yes, I know any athelete wants to play the whole game, but maybe this suits him in a way where he is most comfortable. Maybe not having the pressure 100% on his shoulders keeps him focused on what he is expected to do.

Just an angle about Lee we might be overlooking.

I think he's way more comfortable coming off the bench. That's probably what his role needs to be and I'm sure Les Miles knows that.

I agree with this, although when he has been put under pressure he has done very well. He certainly seems to have his head straight these days, and I have to admit I didn't think he could come back like he has so far. Great to see it.

What do you expect to here him say, that he is more comfortable not starting. He very well might like this role, but he's not going to admit that. If it does fit him, that doesn't make it a bad thing.

Dude, even when Les makes my head ache, he still the coach of LSU and that makes him the coach I back. I made an observation about Lee. It may not be accurate, but it something that is possible.

I think many on here are okay with JJ starting and playing situational roles throughout the game.

The frustration for most is the number of drives that JJ gets compared to Lee after the game is in progress. Few really believe that JJ should continue to get more than half the drives/plays. Just reverse the percentages from the last couple of games, let JJ stay in the starter's role since Les obviously is inflexible on that, and continue on with our success..

Any kid that can go through the grief he took in 2008 and want to stay and play here is ACES in my book.

Lee should be the outright starting qb, but i don't mind JJ coming in for goal line situations

We all think this should be happening. Maybe JL likes it the way it is.

You don't know him and please stop guessing. If you watch the game, you can see him on the sideline being eager to get in, that tells he has a want to play the whole game (in other words, wants to be a starter)

I thought about this, but the evidence doesnt support it.

Hes been put in the game on 3rd and 20, and hes been asked to engineer late game winning drives in the two minute offense for consecutive weeks and succeeded, one of which was on the road at The Swamp.

So much for not having the pressure 100% on his shoulders. it doesnt get any worse than that.
