Something that we all need to keep in mind as LSU fans, progress is not linear

As LSU fans, I feel like we think progress looks like this:
But in reality, progress looks like this:
No one is happy with the product put forth Sunday night. But, and Kelly was pretty clear about it, we’re still an incomplete team. Changes need to be made, yes. Lumps will be taken along the way, y’all. We need to settle down and allow this team to grow and get better.

But in reality, progress looks like this:

Watching some reactions on this board, makes me really scared of how people handle real life problems. If you’re acting like this after losing a football game you didn’t even play in…yikes.

When 80% of your offense returns, and there is ZERO to show for it…no efficiency, no improvement, and certainly no new creative elements…you have to KNOW that your coaching staff is limited.

Agreed.
Progress does look like fixing mistakes and not running the same mistake makers out there.
If you're running the same folks out who keep creating the heart ache, that's not progress... that's ignorance.

Good trajectory. We are not winning a championship this year. Hopefully they learn and improve. Week one games are sloppy.

Probably more accurate to say we think the team should be playing 110% at all times and shouldn’t need to progress.
