Something that annoys me about Doug Thompson and Chris Blair

In the last fifteen minutes, Doug has tried to make casual conversation about a curfew situation vs Texas in 1998. Chris has made zero effort to engage in conversation with Doug about it. How hard is it for Chris to just playfully say, "I bet Skip wasn't happy about what Texas was doing..."
It makes for uncomfortable moments.

What's the deal with a 2:30 curfew anyway?
I can maybe understand the reasoning behind an 11 pm or midnight curfew on a Sunday game, but why set a hard curfew for an 11 am game?

Well you see....flights leave air ports at certain times. They don't hold commercial flights for the conclusion of a college baseball game.

Here's news for you.. Blair isn't going anywhere so just sit back and see how he grows into the job.
The downside of hiring someone without deep LSU ties is that maybe it will take him longer to develop in some aspects.
The upside is that he seems like a real professional. I imagine Hawthorne struggled early trying to replace Ferguson. I am glad they didn't get a local hack or know it all.
A big question is who will replace Doug Moreau in football when he hangs it up.

Actually it always seems more live Doug is bothering Blair when he's trying to do his job.
I was hoping Doug was a one year failed experiment. Really makes you miss Hanigriff because they'd be a dynamite duo.

They offered the job to Hanny but he turned it down.
