We've looked bad before.....but this game we look completely lathargic...like not even trying. Quarter man has had some bad games..but this is a whole new level. I'm wondering if there isn't some sort of ream turmoil...or if everybody is sick. Never seen this team look like this... even vs. Charleston....

NO LEADERSHIP !!!!!!!!
JJ should be coaching middle school somewhere. He got the job b/c he is a good old boy with temple and his crew.

How do you know there isn't any leadership? Maybe the players just aren't playing hard.

It could be a member of the selection committee telling them they basically don't have anything to play for has affected team morale - especially since it was their own AD.

They just said reason Simmons didn't start was an "internal matter" to be handled after the game. Something is DEFINITELY going on....

That's bullcrap. How about play for pride so you don't look ridiculous on national TV. How about playing all out to show the committee you deserve a spot in the dance.

That's not what he said, dickweed. He said:

“This is my fifth year on the committee, so I have a lot of experience doing this. As of yesterday, LSU’s RPI was 82. There has never been a team picked in the tournament at-large with an RPI over 80,” Alleva said. “As of right now, I don’t think (the chances are) very good. In other words, we need to win a lot of games. We can’t afford to lose many more games going forward.”

“Frankly I’m concerned about where we are at this point in time,” Alleva said.

“This team is capable of beating anybody, and it’s capable of losing to anybody,” Alleva said. “You don’t know which team is going to show up on a given day … there’s not a lot of margin for error with this team.”

That's not exactly a vote of confidence, shite for brains.

...fricking illiterate.

if this is true they are a bunch of pussies. are people really this coddled these days? the appropriate action for a man when hearing those words should have been to bust one's arse to prove him wrong. not crawl into a corner, adopt the fetal position and suck ones thumb.

So posters want to blame this team's performance today on ALLEVA?
Good grief!
