See this statement right here, this my friend is the difference between fans of contenders and the fans of pretenders.

After you stop Whistling Past The Graveyard you can try putting a "Spell' on LSU.

If that don't work. Go home and drink a beer.

Agree wholeheartedly...with a win we got to the Top 10 and have a chance to get in the NC game, with a loss we stay about where we are now, run the table and still finish Top 10 with a BCS bid.

Any FBS game is a big one, this one just happens to have a team in that is ranked high early in the year...who knows how good anyone is until game 5 or 6 anyhow.

First big game of a new era for us but not the biggest deal in the world.

You obviously have never ventured out to catch a night game elsewhere. A night game in Death Valley makes anything in Morgantown look like just a bunch a wanna-be hillbillies swigging moonshine & burning a couch in the street. Actually, anything can accomplish that!

We don't need to underestimate WV but if we go in there and play our arses off we will be fine! Keep our nose to the grind stone and do what we know we can do... some arse!!!

You haven't done it before against a 3-3-5 defense. Like the Albanian said in the movie Taken, "Good Luck"

Tennessee tried a new 3-5-5 defense on us last year

Bigger than the 2007 Pitt game that WVU tanked and lost a trip to the NC? Don't think so. It'll be pretty wild up there tomorrow night, but I doubt it will exceed what the team face 4 times a year in SEC road games.

The Pitt game was not a big game. They were 3-8. The consequences of that game were huge if we lost but it wasn't a big game. If you're supposed to blow the team out then it isn't a big game.

That might be the one of the most idiotic statements I have ever read. "The consequences of that game were huge if we lost but it wasn't a big game" are fricking kidding me. How is it not a huge game if a loss means no BCS game?? Please explain that crap to me? You just need to stop trying to defend yourself because you are making it worse.

The game that would've landed you your first and only trip to the NC was NOT the biggest game in 'eer history? Wow ... whatever you say. So ... if you lose tomorrow night, then I suppose that's not your biggest game ever either, right? Again, whatever you say.

Another moronic statement. I have to tell you that LSU will be playing its 4th game this weekend if I am correct. 3 of the 4 teams will have been ranked in the top 25. One, was in the national championship last year. LSU dominated the three other opponents. Not just got by like your team, they DOMINATED. The hardest team on your schedule so far has been Maryland and you had to squeek by to win that one in the end. Give all of us a break, you have no clue how to break down a matchup obviously. Unless, you really think that your team has a faster offense than Oregon, a better running game than MSU, a quicker defense than both. LSU has proved what they are worth in 3 games. WVU has proven they have a horrible running game 107th in nation, have to rely completely on the pass, have undersized offensive and defensive lines 45th in rush defense against crap teams, 53rd in pass defense against guess what..crap teams. Look at the team you are playing in LSU, go watch the past 3 games. Then come back and talk crap.

It makes perfect sense. You are just an idiot. By your logic, the Northwestern State game two weeks ago was a bigger game than the Alabama and Arkansas game last year because we were still in the National Title hunt for the Northwestern State game. The number 2 team in the nation vs a 3-8 team is not a big game, just a big screw up ex post facto.

let me ease your mind. these points have probably been made already:

1) it took ALL that WVU had to beat MARYLAND last week. maryland ....
2) fortunately for us the fans dont play the game. the players do, and ours are much more talented.
3) theres a reason gameday has NEVER been to morgantown ..... and theres a reason they finally decided to go. theyre playing the tigers.
